What's About?:

ROCK&ROLL IN BRAZIL !!! Definitely worth it at least to see. Brazil and Rock has its history since 1950s going through some tough political repressions time of 1970s, so this country is experienced in Rock and have their own rock starts…maybe😄. Basically what you need to know is that the Carnaval is not the only notable festival in Brazil there are some that will give not less body-shaking and screaming woohoo like there is no tomorrow.

 

Again Rock festival in Brazil is one of those huge music festival that you should consider for this 2022 year – two weekends in September. But not sure for the 2023 year.

 

Similar to Rock in Rio’s European event in Lisbon. Except rock, in case you bring someone who is into other music genres, the event will held pop and hip-hop’s biggest artists. 

Europe

What's About?:

The NEWEST event – Andalucia Big Festival bringing brand new colours at Playa de Sacaba in Malaga. But in 2023 moving to Villaverde, Madrid, at Laguna Dalga con Avda. Real de Pinto and was in Summer. The move to a new site is in partnership with Madrid City Council who, and it’s promised to keep up with the cultural meaning of this festival. Hell yeah if you down to ‘eat-sleep-rave-repeat’ listening to the mix of music talents for three days straight pretty much in September.

Aug 31 – Sep 4 September

What's About?:

Organisers of the Dimensions Festival knew what they are going for –  full bliss of breathtaking coastline while dancing to the mix pumping beats, specifically a lot of effusive club sounds. The Garden Resort is the place for this festival and this year it will be historical 10th anniversary celebration. DANCING ON THE BEACH of the Adriatic sea and then enjoy cocktails in one of the world’s most unique nightclubs – Barbarellas Discotheque ! Wait, on top of it there is a boat party tickets if you prefer. Would be a pity to miss it.    

August 18 - August 20th

What's About?:

The Field Maneuvers is an intimate festival with a capacity of just 1,500 who would enjoy this year’s lineup including house, electro, breaks, ambient, jungle, donk and lots more.

September 8th - 11th But canceled in 2023 year

What's About?:

Phonetics is one of those festivals that each time moves location, hosts a residency programme for local and international artists. Being such a nomadic festival this year it chose the Mono Lisboa, Portugal’s capital will host different kind of artists, such as DJ Danifox, Zaltan and Ziúr, Filho Único.  Portuguese and French talents will also play in the shows at various venues around the city. What's About?:

Since 2019 Draaimolen found a perfect home at MOB Complex, and no wonder  as stages nestled into woods coming from the forest, so it gives a sense of some kind of connections with nature, if you know what I mean. In 2022, organisers decide for the first time held this festival for two days. This is because there was an issue with the strong lineup of 2019 edition one-day event that could be managed better if the festival would go for two days instead. This year’s program lineup is no different and will include Eris Drew and Mystic Bill, DjRUM and Skee Mask and CEM with DJ Nobu. 

September 16th

What's About?:

London festival Waterworks‘ debut last year was appreciated by many for its strong sound. Gunnersbury Park in West London hosting this festival, across 7 stages. In 2022 this event brought artists like DJ Storm with Stamina MC, Digital Mystikz and SGT Pokes, Darwin and Yung Singh. Expect to hear house, techno, trance, electro, breaks, jungle and more.

Africa

9 - 12 November (2023)

What's About?:

Nyege Nyege’s first in-person festival since 2019. This year’s site at Itanda Falls in Jinja tackle a beachside on the shores of the river Nile. In addition to pop and rap artists from across Africa, outstanding electronic DJs are on the lineup, including Hibotep, Kampire, DJ Diaki and Otim Alpha. International artists like Low Jack and much more. Bringing such artists the Nyege Nyege Festival has earned hefty reputation over the last seven years.

The Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival or Mooncake Festival – traditional festival celebrated in Chinese, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and other countries in East and Southeast Asia.

The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is a three day festival that takes place on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar. This is special celebration the mid-autumn full moon and harvest, joined by family gatherings and, of course, delicious food!

Rosh Hashana for Hebrew Year 5784 begins at sundown on  and ends at nightfall on .

 

Rosh Hashanah (Hebrew: ראש השנה), (what literally means “head of the year”), is the Jewish New Year. It is the first of the High Holidays or Yamim Noraim (“Days of Awe”), celebrated ten days before Yom Kippur. Rosh Hashanah is very important holiday on the Jewish calendar, on Rosh Hashanah days Jews from all over the world celebrate God’s creation of the world. Businesses across Israel will be closed on both days, just in case you are in Israel.

 

Traditionally many Jewish families will go to a Synagogue on this days. One of the traditions of Rosh Hashanah is to blow a big horn called a Shofar. On top of that don’t forget that there are some symbolic foods link to this tradition include apples dipped in honey, so its quite sweet. 

North America

The Making Time is a music project by Philadelphia DJ and event curator Dave P who dedicated his life to building unique, immersive music events. Dave P has been inviting some of the world’s most exquisite artists and this year he aimed to make his most ambitious festival lineup. For the first time, at Front Mifflin that is originally built in 1771 (America’s one of the oldest military outpost), Making Time ∞ will take place across multiple days. So if you come in September you would get excursion of light and sound as that’s what they say!
