“To follow” in Japan style

Japanese style of following orders

Ahem, not to low your expectation from your trip to Japan but would like to sparkle more darker tint to this rather pristine feedback from daredevils, travel junkier, country-jumpers, gypsy rankers and more of tags for tourists…Meaning now I would bring some dark historical sense to this “perfect performers” skill of Japanese folks. As you might have sensed, Im not necessarily to favour this way to do thing.

Often can’t tell the difference between robots and Japanese…um, for their patience, emotions suppress, docile to any order, and their robotic way to perform, at work. One good advantage over robots — they never complain, never warn for the need for a  “restart”, till they burn out for good (RIP).

Japan has a long story and many country’s controversial reputation  and because of having such good listeners and does of commands no wonder many bio testing factories/laboratories with so immoral deeds were made and located in Japan ( among them is the 731 unit during WWII  — the well-known one), just making a point that when you are too good of a performer, following orders, the main things for you would be to make/ act/ commit / complete the task that is been given to you no matter how immoral it is, basically could not care less what it is about, more stressed about the time manner its required for you to finish it, to be over with it.

Great! Is it?? Or rather scary knowing how robotic the one can be without carrying a sight of sympathy. In fact knowing that there is no guarantee that you would be understood and saved by the executor who stiffly perform his/her duty, what was asked to, doesn’t give you much lay-back assurance in your safety.

Yea I kept using the word “robotic” as it is simply could be compared to robots, metal entities that solely rely on the written programs and unlikely to update manually to something that would conflict with their standard settings, well, otherwise if so that would be some kind of “Terminator rebellion” movie script.

I understand that this behaviour and cultural attitude is effective if you follow the law and do as you asked for, noticing the best sides living in such environment: risk-free to lose your wallet that would be found with all the money in it; you can freely rely on people who walk you to the map-point you need; secure feeling at night, and so forth. But what if someone is a hat of a nail?( the cliche phrase that is used in Japan :でるくいはうたれる “ the nail hat sticker up will be hammered down ). BUT DON’T RUSH TO THINK THER IS NO WAY OUT IF YOU MADE A MISTAKE: cliche phrase “Even monkeys fall from trees” (猿も木から落ちる (Saru mo ki kara ochiru)) would help you to get away… maybe for a little while :D.
