UN and its end

From left to right: Ukraine dreaming of Putin’s defeat, a full set in EU parliament; the former US secretary placing veto on all the statement;  Russia showing their view and making proposals; Saudi Arabia watching Israel; Israel cant care less what, who, when, how…

'OK' to block aid

UN meeting in its classic terms

What is the UN (United Nations)? If to say in quick. the unit of nations with 5 static members (Russia, China , USA, UK, France) and the others, the ‘visitors’ — come-and-go nations on the open-elipse table — for the time to discuss their issues. The unit  was set right after WWII ( 24 October 1945) for sake of security and thus called as UN Security Consulate —  abbreviation in full ‘UNSC’. Might have figured without me scorching out some data, skip on me saying this pre elementary base.

How it all goes and what are the rules and duties of ’em in real sense: Protecting… Saving…Supporting… Organising…’Let it be’…?

Well huh, right after this line I could just say, ‘Voila! Pick the odd one out’

Might as well first to go about the most weighty point there, the one that is avoided by all: who would be the one to hold accounted. In other words just a blame game; Goes from barely heard to the most absurd that you can imagine.

If to go with the absurd, the most famous type of a blame by the way, then no question to anything even if this ‘one’ has never ever been noticed there at that spot.  And the first in that spot would be the …um,  Russia? WOW. shocking?? Nah, this one is not a ‘jaw dropping’ …rather now to be a cliché, like going with ‘all the sins be on the Ruski’ … Ok, maybe more surprising would be if to blame Iran?Er, also is not so eye-circled. and guess will complete this list of “most expected” with China on the round

All those 3 go in line for blame, tackle all hatred rhetoric from the West … If only those two — Russia and China — wouldn’t be in those 5 glued to the table, or well not that their membership helped alot.

Ok back to the one who is at the target now,  among the listed (above) classic “most hated”Hungary ? For their way to stay out of the crowd …like a nail that stands out. Who would doubt that this ‘nail’ would be hard to hammer when you have such Hungarian PM in power:

Viktor Orban, experienced politician ( 15+ years in PM office) who thinks more of his country’s economic growth than about a distant future of collective West.

‘warmonger” phrases like Russia will lose and Europe will do whatever to defeat Russia, forgetting on what their bolts are running: Hungary receive about 75% of natural gas and about 60 to 80 % oil, nuclear fuel from Russia, so if not the bedrock of a system but an ornament that helps to function smoothly. Knowing that, why to red-patch that gear, and stick with a collective EU sates, that comparatively don’t have much to do with Russia therefore wont suffer as much if cutting all ties with ‘Matreshka’ country?

Ok, then who is there … Serbia? Was in that list, the list “to blame” since 1998, the civil strife, Yugoslavia’s wars that also happened from so much mess of disagreements and empty promises. But for fact you can’t go far in blaming a small country that has bits to say, and has a bigger ally on their shoulder like Russia, who was ( well not so active in Yugoslavia war. which is another regretful story I could go loud about as Russian) and will be on the side of Serbia as their centuries-long brotherhood. Sure again — Russia in focus.

Same thing with China. Who cared about this  “the Great Wall” country — agricultural, semi-Buddhistic nation –when it was under Japan’s occupation (till 1945), then barely made their living to 90s, crusaded all the charts in economics in 21st century, and only then, basically now looked at as a threat to all apparently ( Western words)… what links them to be in-charge for all the world’s sins.

Peace-making or feast-taking?

Peacemakers and unifier” goes to…um to WHO???Really to who?  This title seems to be far from a raffle.

Anyway, 21st century looks quite promising on the events — bloodshed, non-stop hypocrisy at top table meetings, world-twisting events…and more.

How effective is the UN in all?  Hypocrisy is clearly bolded: seeing the conflict in Ukraine, spreading  “the one invaded should be faded… ” seem to not work for Israel-Palestine war…

‘Something happening in Gaza? Nah, haven’t seen and no one knows ‘. What ‘save the one that was invaded’ idea doest work anymore? Jump on with you  thought if you disagree, but to me this is quite clear two-faced: you call for moral terms and then completely shutter your eyes at other. ‘It’s another thing, it’s another thing…’. “Fluger” move (Russian say).

Saying that, the fighting dictum  “fight around and get out” against Russki — was and is solely based on money-talk; to short one in power in resources, cut ends on the economic devel., squeeze-shut promising partnership, and more…

‘United Nations would respond…’, surely would respond [smirk].

Most ambassadors (UN) for the fact are those who worked in the embassy, they are assumed to know different cultures and rules, surely prone to guarantee a world peace, as assumed… as thought… In the reality, troubles, issues, and new concerns are also comes from this c-shape table.

Troubles like… sabotage, fake- news that boosting hate and so its fate — ‘a war campaign will get your fame…’.

If those walls only could talk … The most absurd like testing tube of Powell ( US Secretary), ignorant look of Danny Danon (Israel PM) on Eastern concerns, ‘I’m a hero gimme Euro…’ phoney speech of Zelensky (former Ukrainian president), war firing context of UK folks, wake-up calls and short-kick trolls from Lavrov ( FM of Russia)…

*”Fluger” move (Russian say). –the wind vane, turns wherever the wind goes
*Er like the “Powell’s tube” effect( Colin Powell brought a test tube to the UN meeting), you might be familiar with that.

Why to listen?

If anything goes to a good deal, or ceasefire deal, it need to pass many of those “paper readings” UN meetings before anything like peace-talk would occur

Another day, another paper with statistics on atrocities, death toll, hunger, genocide at place, violation of rules (use of biological weapons or radioactive materials), assassination of top figures… The most running, spinning topics on this pac-man table.

A kind of solo theatre, not a kabuki one, but a scene in-door performance where all get a chance to speak out, play their role as a voice of their nation; the one side talks giving their clues — in form of monologue — then another side comes in with their point on what had been shown, like covering whatever was painted first with more colourful fonts… and that’s it ; the round 2, 3, 4…  tomorrow, the day after, another week before reaching any consensus, whether its a two sides solution or just a peacemaking for sometime. Basically all this rounds might go in a speed of a turtle reaching an Atlantic from the Galapagos: Quite slow… very slow. Likely the battlefield victory would make the final push for the dealmaker.

AND SO, why do we have this UNSC then?

It doest show what is the current situation at different parts of the globe. The effect of those meetings — to solve ongoing issues —  is another point and hardly can strike a deal, change the game…

The peak wold be reached at some point, with or without the UNSC, so its all about the time and what you would lose, and what comes after

UN helps to come to that peak, no doubt, but usually with shaky terms on peacemaking, skeptic towards all kind of good intentions.

As I say, referring to many military experts ‘hope for the better, but prepare for the worst’, might alined well with the UN meetings. With the longer conflicts for resources, religious instability, and rising weaponisation of major powers in geopolitics, its nearly impossible to really RELY FULLY on the UN as a SECURITY POWER for all.
